Tessellations transformed into playing cards with designs inspired by classical music and rock & roll. What is a tessellation? A tessellation on a flat surface is the tiling of a plane using one or more geometric shapes, or "tiles", with no overlaps and no gaps. M.C. Esher made use of tessellations in many of his artworks.
