Unicoum Liqueur promo deck made in Hungary. It used the famous Hungarian pattern, or Seasons, or Tell pattern, as it is commonly called, is one of the most charming of all the German-suited cards. The oldest known deck with a pattern of seasons. Produced around 1835 by Joseph Schneider, it has 8 jacks, each bearing the name of a character from Schiller's work William Tell (1804), which was performed in Hungary in 1833.
