After helping with a few successful card deck campaigns, we finally decided to start Excelsior Playing Cards. We were looking for a strong theme for our very own deck. We started by looking around at what was happening and what entertainment we were consuming. The peak of the cyberpunk universe's influence on pop culture was in the '80s and late-'90s, but we have seen the genre striking back into the mainstream over the last few years. Successful franchising of Blade Runner 2049, Altered Carbon, Ghost in the Shell, Battle Angel Alita, and, of course, the upcoming Cyberpunk 2077 video game from the makers of The Witcher, show us that the genre’s looks, city concepts, and society intricating relations are coming back from their multidecade hibernation. We wanted to create a deck that could reflect the exciting pop culture hype for the fans and, at the same time, have a luxurious look for cardists and magicians. There are very few decks printed with these thematics so far and even less from Bicycle® and rarely one with a 3D design. Therefore, this genre was a perfect match and a good choice for our unique style. Bicycle® Cybershock Fuchsia Deck Overview: Printed by USPCC's high-end casino web press, exclusively in Premium Quality (the highest grade of playing card quality in the industry) Limited Edition Gilded Neon Fuchsia Foil Edges, will be sold only on Kickstarter Numbered custom-designed tuck case seal (Stretch goal unlocked!) Unfortunately, USPCC printed all the seals in grey. There is not a very good way to distinguish them other than peeking at the internal corner at the edge of the box flap to see the color of the box’s inner print
