Based on the "French deck", a descendant of the legendary Tarot cards, rose to fame in Rouen in 1609. Nidus Veneficae = Witches nest Promotional deck of the former "Geisterwerkstatt" (Spirit Workshop), an entertainment venue which ceased activities ca 2010. Based on a newspaper article the deck has been introduced to public in April 2002.
