Iron Hollow is a Victorian Gothic Romance, designed and illustrated by Nicolai Aaroe, telling the tragic lovestory of twelve central characters, all inspired by gothic folklore and legends. It is an illustrative storytelling and a luxurious set of playing cards all at once.
The Scarlet tuck is an artistic representation of a dark mansion with red silk curtains and the romance and horrors that unfolds behind them. It is manufactured with red and silver foil, strategically embossed on a matte, black stock.
The Scarlet edition deck features a shining red gilding, to represent the sacred blood of secret pacts and silky curtains of gilded Victorian mansions. While the Ravenclaw back design features blue raven feathers, the Scarlet card back features the intricate IH monogram and little red roses.
