This is a vintage Congress 606 double deck produced by the United States Playing Card Company (USPCC) out of Cincinnati, Ohio.
The Congress line originally debuted way back in 1881 as Russell & Morgan's top-tier luxury brand, and the "606" line specifically denoted their premium decks with gilt (gold) edges. Double deck sets like this were extremely popular throughout the mid-20th century, particularly for bridge players.
Production Date: 1958 On both Aces, you can see the code printed as Y 2631 and Y 2632. USPCC used a rotating letter code system to identify the manufacturing year. The prefix letter "Y" combined with this mid-century Ace design dates the printing precisely to 1958.
