Welcome to the world of Morbid Curiosity, our debut project, “LURKING”, is a phobia-inspired playing cards project, a love letter between horror, beauty, and playing cards. The LURKING playing cards explores the primal fears that dwell just beneath the surface of human imagination. Each card is meticulously crafted to evoke the thrill of the fright, bringing out the artistic beauty and creativity within. This is not just a deck of cards, it’s a journey into the darker corners of curiosity, a collector’s piece for those who appreciate the haunting allure of phobia personified.
Our top tier deck, Lurking: Prism Mirage, has each card face and back fully laminated with holographic foil, creating a striking play of light and colour with every shuffle. All card face designs are inverted to maximize the iridescent effect. Completing the design is a black holo gilded edge, you will be amazed by how black and iridescent colour can exist on the same surface!
