This Black Palekh deck was made by the Leningrad (St.Petersburg) factory of color printing in 1967 to commemorate their 150-anniversary. Originally named as \'Jubilee\' playing cards these cards became well known as Black Palekh. Art design by the Russian artist Pavel Bazhenov (1904-1941). This particular Black Palekh deck was printed in 1980 (1977 edition).
