Designed by Vitaly Fishilevich of Kipod Tattoo & Piercing in Tel aviv. The idea for these playing cards came from Vitaly Fishilevich\\\'s childhood love of pirate stories and hidden treasures. As an adventurous young boy he imagined the cards that the pirates themselves used to play with while drinking rum at sea. A recurring motif is the symbolism of life and death, and there are references in the cards to the subjects of Voodoo, and of Spanish conquistadors, amongst others. The black and white artwork can be used as a sampler of tattoo flash designs and is made in the style of Calavera art (sugar skulls).
