Rambler No. 23 Gilt Edge Playing Cards - made by the us playing Card company. The joker and card backs are pictured below. These have an air cushion finish and durable water-proof finish. The gold edge is still applied by hand today. This helps seal the edges from water so the cards are protected on all surfaces . Magicians and card cheats like these because the gold edge can be easily marked. Brilliant gold gilded edges, waterproof aluminum finish, Air-cushion and very durable paper. These superb quality cards have been in print since about 1893. They are favored for their durable water-proof air-cushion paper and beautiful gilt edges.
