Description

The Martin aircraft and aerospace company was involved in rocketry between 1957 and 1961, when it became Martin Marietta. These cards also show evidence on the tray card of tax stamps on each bridge deck, which would verify the date, An examination of the court cards show the Brown & Bigelow design. These are jumbo index cards with two jokers; the jokers are not the usual B&B design. The card back designs in blue and red are appealing, but the real star of the show is the plastic box, which features a clear top over a very unique dark blue with inset sparkling glitter, evoking deep starry space.
