A second deck of cards by Art of Play pays homage to Stephen King’s classic novel and Stanley Kubrick’s legendary movie, The Shining. The first edition of Overlook Playing Cards, released in 2018, is now called the “Carpet Back,” with its back carrying the iconic carpet design inside the Overlook Hotel. This second edition, released in 2023, is called the “Maze Back”. Its back design represents the maze from The Shining’s nail-biting climax. The faces feature a slightly custom USPC face design. Each deck includes a double-backer with the Maze Back on one side and the Carpet Back on the other. Very rare deck first available thru Art of Play's 2023 mystery deck.
