Frontier Playing Cards is an ambitious project done by Kings Wild Project. The campaign starts with a blank canvas, with nothing only a brief description. In the span of 10 days, Jackson Robinson (with some help from his daughter Claire) illustrates and designs the deck from start to finish, along with the planned add-ons. By the end of the campaign, the decks will be produced once it is fully funded. The decks will be produced by KWPCC - the tuck box features semi-glossy stock with embossing and foiling; the cards feature vibrant cold foiling, either in gold or silver, on some of the details of the artworks. Frontier Playing Cards tells a story of the Harrison Family as they begin their journey from the township of Chattanooga, Tennessee, as they venture west into New California in search for the promise of gold - it was during a Gold Rush period of 1850s. Along the way, the Harrisons will encounter all manner of characters, but their dream of the West and Wealth will keep their hopes alive. Jack of Spades - Jonah Harrison, adventurous 12-year boy, helping the family with chores and watch for any signs of danger. Queen of Spades - Eliza Harrison, the family's matriarch, a gentle wife and mother. King of Spades - Samuel Harrison, the family's patriarch, a determined, rugged husband and father. Jack of Hearts - Sherriff Elijah Harper, the lawman with a storied reputations, he helped the Harrisons clear away the misdemeanors threatening their safety. Queen of Hearts - Lola Belle, the Can Can dancer with a sparkling personality, who tells about her life from New Orleans to inspire the Harrisons. King of Hearts - Cornelius Hargrove, the railroad tycoon with authority and ambition, who is planning to create a transport connection from the East to the West. Jack of Clubs - Franklin Riley, the butcher with a jovial personality and a knack for culinary delights, he helped with the Harrisons provisions and he decided to join them on the last leg of the journey to provide culinary support. Queen of Clubs - Cora Abbot, the bartender and owner of Silver Spur saloon, she becomes the icon of resilience and hospitality in the Wild West. King of Clubs - Caleb Turner, the blacksmith, a robust and charismatic man, he helped with repairs and upgrades to the Harrisons wagon and tools as he shared his life story. Jack of Diamonds - Tasunka, the Chief's son, a spirited and brave warrior, he makes a bond with Jonah and he teaches the Harrison boy some skills. Queen of Diamonds - Shaman Nahimana, the serene and mystical shaman woman of the tribe, she provides blessings for the family. King of Diamonds - Chief Stormwalker, the chieftain of the Cheyenne tribe, a wise man full of leadership who leaded his people. The Jokers feature the family's dog Bandit: one with a gold star with Bandit being happy that there's gold on the plate; one with a silver star with Bandit being sad there's no gold on the plate. There's an extra card showing an illustration of a map of United States during that period, marking the journey of the Harrison Family. There's also a double backer card, which shows the deck's back design found in Special Edition. The back design features an upholstery with red fabric and gold gilded frame. On both sides are the golden cartwheels. The small notation of direction found on the border makes it a subtle one-way design. The customized pips feature silver details for Spades and Clubs and gold details for Hearts and Diamonds. The wooden board on the left and right side shows the index, and they are in different colors, making the deck a four-color suit playing cards. All Aces feature enlarged pips, with Ace of Spades being the most intricate. Special Gilded Edition features the back design in green along with additional elements: two revolvers crossed with a banner bearing the titles. The cards are gilded with emerald green foil. The tuck box is the customized shape featuring a long outer tuck flap with a slit insert to close the box. There's the additional elements of two revolvers on top of the golden cartwheel. The golden frame showing the numbering of the deck is on the back of the box, below the slit insert of the flap. Only 200 decks made.
