Webster’s dictionary defines patina as…who cares what Webster thinks. You already know what Patina is. It goes beyond mere appearance. It is something almost tangible that describes what something appears to feel like. Rust on a worn blade. Mold on a window sill. Frost on brittle weeds. Mere description may be enough to elicit feelings of these things, but its the Patina, the visual cues of texture/pattern/repetition that gilds these things with LIFE. https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/bobcrum/dark-patina-a-truly-unique-deck-of-playing-cards/description
