Travel the World - Volume 1

The Travel the World Decks are perfect for anyone who has ambitions for travel and exploring our planet. The pair of Decks includes a total of 108 popular travel destinations from around the world. Each suit focuses on a specific continent, with the 4 Jokers featuring Antarctica sightseeing locations. The 13 Spades for each Deck highlight North American destinations (26 in total), and the 13 Hearts for each Deck feature European destinations (also 26 in total). The Clubs and Diamonds include 13 Asia destinations and 13 South America sites (Volume 1), and also 13 Africa and 13 Oceania locations (Volume 2). To bring this ambitious vision to life without sacrificing quality, I decided to integrate AI tools like MidJourney into my workflow. AI helped generate the base illustrations in the classic travel poster style, which I then revised and customized in Photoshop to make each card unique. Even with AI’s assistance, this project was far from automated—each separate card took over an hour of work (including AI prompt renders, Photoshop revisions and cleanup, writing copy and adding each element into my template design). The total was well over 100 hours of work for the entire project. As a designer, I see AI as a tool for projects such as this - what I call an Info Deck. I will ALWAYS personally draw any Deck designs that feature people. And I will ALWAYS be honest about the use of AI in a project.
