"A deck inspired by the centuries-old craft of “cammeo” making, an ancient art handed down by artisans from various eras to the present day. This ancient art is represented worldwide in Torre del Greco, a province in southern Italy.
A cammeo is a piece of jewelry made by hand by engraving a shell. An iron tool called a “BULIN” is used to make these “mini sculptures.” The shells, of different colors (sardonic, cornelian, etc.), have a surface consisting of two layers of different colors.
