Illustrated by Trenton Miller. These playing cards depict extinct species from around the world with rich illustrations.
The suites are comprised of Carnivorous Dinosaurs (spades) Herbivorous Dinosaurs (clubs), Ice Age Mammals (hearts), and Hominids (diamonds). I illustrated face cards and jokers for each suite for a total of 26 face card illustrations as well as the design on the reverse . The face cards highlight prominent members or each group, both as skeletons and living creatures. Jokers depict a modern species that does not live up to their ancient counterparts, living in their shadow.
Built at a tall tarot size they are sure to be a great gift for lovers of history, science, and illustration.
