World famous subjective artist named Charles Pry through Expressionism and other art forms. The Belgian artist Charles Pry is well known for his Diableries Tarot and Les Simulachres de la Mort. Like many of the handmade decks Pry created over the years magnificent hand colored limited decks that included the traditional courts along with the aces and cards of each suit, two jokers and a cover card.
Each card is personally hand painted, hand cut from a poly laminate back that is breathtaking! Charles success through paintings are in selective museums and highly sought after by prestigious art collectors.
Pry was one of the founders of a group of Belgian avant-garde artists known as "La Jeune Peinture Belge," described by the Oxford Dictionary of Art as "an avant-garde artists' association founded in Brussels in 1945 with the aim of holding exhibitions of contemporary Belgian art throughout Europe.
This specific hand drawn deck has 32 cards, plus 3 jokers, plus 1 title card for 36 cards total. Extremely rare in complete form and all hand made.
