Presenting the world of Hans Christian Andersen through the medium of playing cards. Not as a single collection, but as four distinct, thematically curated volumes, each brought to life through the medium of premium playing cards. At the heart of this collection is the hourglass: a symbol of story time itself. It holds the sands of “once upon a time,” that timeless realm where a duckling becomes a swan, a mermaid becomes foam, and a shepherdess dares to dream. In every tale, Andersen reminds us that within these grains of sand, and fleeting moments can lie eternal truths about love, loss, courage, and hope. The Back Design is Animated - witness as the hourglass ticks with its sand flows from the top to the bottom. The Number Cards feature customized pips. The Ace of Spades feature an enlarged pip with the illustration of a kid reading a storybook. The Courts feature carefully selected stories written by Hans Christian Andersen. The Jokers feature the central hourglass: one is full and one is empty. Special Edition features Room One signature Accordion Tuck Box. It has a 3D layered cutout of the illustration of the kid reading the storybook. The cards artworks are metallic gold foiled and it is gilded in its respective color foil.
