These are the ultra-rare limited edition pre-release of this deck. Very sought after rare deck! From the publisher:SHARKS are the custom playing cards created exclusively for DMC, following on from HORUS cards which were made in 2012. SHARKS have been produced specially in Cambridge, England. The card stock is 320um Sure Slip, and the card box is 395um Zanta Box Board with moleskin laminate. The shade of red is human blood, printed CMYK on pure white stock.The name has been inspired by a very special performance for HM Queen Elizabeth II some years ago. Having seen DMC perform, the Queen later wrote in a letter, “As for the cardshark, I am sure he will go far”. In 2005 DMC travelled to Bangkok, Thailand, and met with professional cardsharks; men who at the time were regularly traveling to Australia, Japan and Hong Kong to cheat in high value casinos. Working as a team of five, the men were illegally making many thousands of dollars each evening. DMC spent two weeks with them in downtown bars and clubs in Bangkok, learning and studying their techniques.Each deck contains a bespoke King of Diamonds (pictured above), Ace of Spades, custom Jokers, a double-back card, and a blank face card.
