What even are kobolds? Kobolds are similar to goblins: they originated by name in Germanic folklore centuries ago, before being re-imagined over time into a variety of creatures in media.
In the tabletop roleplaying game Dungeons & Dragons, kobolds have changed significantly over the past 50 years (wow!!). They have evolved from scaley dog-like monsters, to rat-men, and most recently as the dimunitive reptilian minions of dragons in modern D&D. My take on kobolds is something in between and extra goofy - resulting in the perfect package of a tiny little guy that is always getting into mischief!
