Regardless of if you are the self-proclaimed "BEST SPADES PLAYER EVER" (as all spades players seem to be) or the only person in the room who has never played, The Game of Spades finally has an official deck we can now all use to enjoy one of urban America's favorite past-times. The Game of Spades deck solves all the conventional problems that exist with trying to get a game going with friends and family. You no longer have to argue for 15 minutes about which joker is which. Is it the "MAVERICK"? Is it the "COLOR JOKER"? Is it the "HORSE"? Who knows?! You no longer have to ruin a perfectly great deck of traditional playing cards by writing "BIG" and "LITTLE" across the cards with a permanent black marker because you can't decide. You no longer have to remove and replace any cards from a traditional deck which almost always results in those two's we don't use (two of clubs and two of hearts) to mysteriously disappear forever. Having The Game of Spades deck in your home will make it as simple as grabbing the deck, shuffling and the first hand bidding itself. One of the best features of The Game of Spades deck is the distinction of the spades or "trump" suit in the deck from the other suits in relation to a traditional deck of playing cards. Because spades are always "trump" in this game, all spades cards have a metallic gold hue giving the suit the sense of superiority in the game it should rightfully carry. This deck is designed for a version of Spades where the normal dueces are removed/altered. An add-on was available to get a matching set of four normal dueces with the proper deck back. The Limited Edition was available only through the Kickstarter campaign. A special rulebook is included in the tuck box.
