Camelot Playing Cards is a series inspired by Arthurian legends in three classic poker decks.
Sir Galahad is close to the original version I did in 2018. There are the first pips and fonts, and an earlier design of all the aces. I have reduced the color scheme of the court cards here to better distinguish them by color.
The back of the cards refers in symbolism to the round table at which all the knights of King Arthur sat. The names of the 12 knights are arranged in a circle and face the Celtic cross. The sun and moon sybolize the perfect harmony of opposites which will soon be destroyed as a result of the invasion. The back of the card is not symmetrical.
