Welcome to the world of Morbid Curiosity, our debut project, “LURKING”, is a phobia-inspired playing cards project, a love letter between horror, beauty, and playing cards. The LURKING playing cards explores the primal fears that dwell just beneath the surface of human imagination. Each card is meticulously crafted to evoke the thrill of the fright, bringing out the artistic beauty and creativity within. This is not just a deck of cards, it’s a journey into the darker corners of curiosity, a collector’s piece for those who appreciate the haunting allure of phobia personified.
The Auric Maw Deck is the centerpiece of our collection, The tuck box is crafted with gold foil, precision embossing and silk‑screen printing. Each card is adorned with full‑page metallic gold foil on both the face and back, The cards only look more reflective and shiny in real life. Each Auric Deck comes with a regal Gold Gilded edge, and just like the holographic decks, these are printed on VIPC's Velvet-Lux stock, the result is a elegant, grand deck that no doubt belongs in your collection.
